Streamlined Sales Tax To Get Attension, Little Movement In Congress

Now that the debt ceiling issue has been settled for the time being, Members of Congress will turn their attention to other issues.  One that may resurface in September is a streamlined sales tax. It would allow states to collect sales taxes on internet sales.  South Dakota Senator Tim Johnson says while it may be a good idea, it doesn’t have much of a chance right now…
