The South Dakota State is filling up it’s grandstand with a world famous…JOKER! The State Fair announced Wednesday the Steve Miller Band will be the grandstand act for Saturday night September 1st. The Steve Miller Band is known for the songs “Joker” Jet Airliner, Take the Money and Run and Fly Like an Eagle. Other grandstand events announced last week include two nights of the Red Wilk Construction C-B-R Bull Bash and country crooner Charlie Pride with opening act Williams and Ree. And opening act for the Steve Miller Band has not been released yet. A pre-sale of tickets will begin June 18 for backrest holders, followed by Friends of the Fair ticket sales on June 20. General public ticket sales will begin on June 25. Ticket prices will be announced at the end of February.
