State Treasurer Says 280 Million Dollars In South Dakota Is Unclaimed

MoneyAbout 280 million dollars of unclaimed money is sitting in the office of the South Dakota State Treasurer, waiting for someone to come and claim it. In just the past fiscal year, over 69 million dollars was taken in, and only 16 million of that has been returned to the people it belongs to.
