The State of South Dakota is keeping a close eye on the 19 nursing homes brought back from the brink of crisis.
The Governor’s office says state officials have been reaching out to the residents and families making sure all is well. He says the takeover by the receiver of the Skyline Healthcare properties happened just in time.
There were even risks of food and medical supplies running out.
The nursing centers taken over by Black Hills Receiver LLC, are in cities all over South Dakota, including Arlington, Clark, and Redfield.
