State Legislature Down to Final Seven Days of this Year’s Session

The South Dakota legislature is down to the final seven days of the main run of this year’s session.

Senate Minority Leader Troy Heinert of Mission says most of those days will be focused on the budget and adjustments needed for both 2019 and 2020.

Senator Majority Leader Kris Langer of Dell Rapids says there are a couple of main issues.

Legislators return to Pierre on Monday for four days, then for three days the following week. The final day is March 29th.
