PIERRE, SD – The Governor’s Office of Economic Development says it’s teaming with officials from 13 South Dakota communities to recruit companies involved in bioscience and the manufacture of medical devices.
State Tourism and State Development Secretary Richard Benda said the group will make its pitch to companies when it attends a trade show in Minneapolis starting Wednesday. Benda said it’s the third year the state and communities have attended. Participating communities are Aberdeen, Brookings, De Smet, Highmore, Huron, Madison, Mitchell, North Sioux City, Sioux Falls, Spearfish, Vermillion, Watertown and Yankton.
