6710 daily passes have been sold since Splash Central opened Memorial Day weekend….
Concession and gift sales are at almost 14-thousand dollars. McGirr says an extra concession window would help….
Rentals of cabanas have been popular especially for people visiting the park from outside Huron….
McGirr says attendance numbers indicate that Tuesday is the most popular day for heading to Splash Central. Commissioner Gary Harrington told McGirr he’s heard complaints that using a credit card to purchase passes on the Splash Central website has been problematic and Splash Central has changed a policy, now issuing a wristband to those who wish to exit the park so they can return, without paying a second admission fee.
