SPLASH CENTRAL MASTER BLASTER ENDS SEASON ON THE DL

The master blaster attraction at Splash Central has shut down for the year after a malfunction in a 60 horse power motor used for that water slide.  Huron Parks and Recreation director Chad Schroder had a chance to update the Huron City commission last week and request emergency funds to replace the motor.

It is not anticipated that the motor will be received this year before the Splash Central season ends on August 14th.  The master blaster slide was a late start to begin the season when a variable frequency drive needed to be replaced to due sitting dormant in 2020 when the water park did not open.
