Overcoming addiction is difficult. It can be just as hard for recovering addicts to break old associations which can pull them back into substance abuse or even cost them their lives.
Ricki Boyle’s brother was one of those people
He had successfully completed treatment before he was stabbed and killed in Watertown back in April.
Boyle uses the tragedy as a platform to educate others going through treatment about the importance of changing their “people and places”.
Boyle will speak at 2 pm today in the main courtroom on the 3rd floor of the Beadle County Courthouse. The public is invited
