South Dakota Requestin Waiver From NCLB

The State of South Dakota is going to ask the US Department of Education for a waiver from testing rules under “No Child Left Behind”.  That federal law requires increasing student achievement levels each year until one hundred percent of kids make the grade.  State Education Department Secretary Dr Melody Schopp says they are beginning the process to update the Dakota STEP tests…
