The South Dakota Farmers Union will be holding a fall conference and open house at their new offices in Huron on Thursday. President Doug Sombke says as part of the meeting, they’ll be holding a panel discussion to help producers better understand the Affordable Care Act and how it effects them.
Panelists include: Kim Jones of the South Dakota Navigators Coalition, Erik Nelson of AARP, Jennie Nickels of Great Plains Brokerage and Warren Graber of Graber Insurance Agency. Sombke says they’ll also choose delegates for their national convention as they’re moving their state convention.
The Fall conference runs from 10 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. with the panel discussion getting underway at 1.30.
