Four public meetings have been held across eastern South Dakota by backers of a proposed crude oil pipeline.
The Dakota Access pipeline would run from the Bakken oilfields in North Dakota, across South Dakota and Iowa to refineries in Illinois. Public Utilities Commission Chairman Chris Nelson says those public meetings identified a number of the issues that need to be explored…
The line would run from near Aberdeen, then near Huron and Sioux Falls on its way to Iowa. Nelson says they are still waiting on the final paper work…
