The Huron Solid Waste Department will be closed on Saturday, December 30th and Monday, January 1st in observance of New Years. Monday’s garbage and recycle collection will be done on Wednesday, January 3rd. Please make sure to have your containers out the night before as trucks will not be rerouted. You are also reminded that Christmas trees without decorations and lights may be taken to the drop-off site until Tuesday, Jan 2nd.
Christmas wreaths, garland and trees with wire, lights or decorations are to be brought to the rubble site at no additional charge.
Items that are normally taken to the drop-off site may be brought to the rubble site during normal operating hours. The drop-off site will be closed until the spring effective Tuesday, January 2nd.
