Social Security Recipients To See First COLA In 3 Years

Social Security recipients will see a little bump in their monthly check in 2012.  A 3-point-6 percent cost of living adjustment will mean an additional 39-dollars a month, or 467-dollars a year on average.  Sam Wilson, associate director of A-A-R-P South Dakota, says this is the first cost of living adjustment since 2009.….

The bump in benefits will automatically show up on checks starting in January….
