Staff at Raven-Aerostar in Huron got an early release from work Monday. Melting ice and snow on the company’s roof struck a natural gas line causing the line to rupture and spew gas into the air. The facility was evacuated as a pre-caution. Huron Firefighters and police responded to the gas leak along with crews from Northwestern Energy around 12:50 PM Monday afternoon. No one was injured. Northwestern crews were able to repair the gas line without incident.
