Some opponents claim N-P-F is trying to push the 25-thousand acre facility through the approval process quickly and are hiding information from officials Others cited concerns about water and air pollution from manure. Supporters say the operation will increase economic development by using local resources like corn and cattle from Miller Livestock Auction. The Hand County Zoning Board adjourned the hearing after an hour and 50-minutes without taking action on the conditional use permit. The meeting is in recess until May 6th when rebuttals to testimony will be taken.
