The Huron City Commission has a light agenda of items for tonight’s meeting of the group. Five items are set for consideration on the consent agenda and Commissioners will consider a payment request for a concrete replacement project. The Commission will also hear a presentation on Helpline 211 and will reconsider making a donation to People’s Transit to help the public transit service cover a lack of funds for operation. Also up for consideration is declaring a property on Second Street surplus and authorizing the signing by the Mayor and City Planner for an award of allocation for historic preservation in the city. The Huron City Commission meets tonight at 5:30 PM at the Huron Municipal Building. The meeting is open to the public.
