A light slate of items will greet the Huron City Commission tonight. Commissioners will consider a joint funding agreement with the U-S Geological Survey for the operation and maintenance of the stream flow gaging station on the James River at Redfield, and will consider declaring as surplus the merry-go-round from the old municipal swimming pool and appointing an appraisal committee. The Commission will also declare a list of items as surplus to be placed on the annual city auction and announcements regarding the Native American Day/Columbus Day holiday will be made. There are no scheduled executive or work sessions for the Huron City Commission, who meet tonight at 5:30 PM at the Huron Municipal Building. The meeting is open to the public.
