Short Agenda Before City Commission Tonight

City CommissionIt could quite possibly be one of the shortest Huron City Commission meetings in the history of the Huron City Commission. The agenda for tonight’s meeting contains, as usual the consent agenda, which includes six items that can all be approved as one motion, although items can be removed and placed elsewhere on the agenda for further discussion. The Commission will hold second reading of an ordinance that formally requires the City Commission use the Robert’s Rules of Order to conduct meetings. Commissioners have two human resource items for consideration, the resignation of a police dispatcher and a hiring recommendation for a part-time summer position in the Street Department. The Huron City Commission will meet tonight at 5:30 PM at the Huron Municipal Building. The meeting is open to the public and you may possibly miss it if you blink.
