Severe Weather Awareness Training Offered in Huron April 18th

Beadle County Emergency Management and the National Weather Service are sponsoring Severe Weather Awareness Training April 18th. The training will be from 7 to 9 pm at the Campus Center Building in Pyle Room on the first floor. The Campus Center is located at 333 9th Street SW in Huron. The program is free, kid friendly and open to all community members.

 Severe Weather Awareness week is April 24th to the 28th. The week will include the Statewide Tornado Drill on April 26th.

At 10:15 AM a test warning will be issued and tornado sirens across the county will be tested. Please do not contact Huron Police Dispatch as this will only be a test of the sirens.
