It could be a dark and stormy afternoon and evening across much of the area.
Mike Gillispie at the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls says they expect thunderstorms to move from west to east across the region.
While there could be some heavy rain with the thunderstorms, Gillispie says they don’t expect flooding to be an issue.
Gillispie says stages on area rivers have fallen enough to have room for any expected rainfall.
