Severe Storms Spawn High Winds, Hail and Tornadoes Across E. South Dakota

Severe storms fired across Eastern South Dakota last night, triggering hail, high winds and even tornadoes.

A tornado was reported by trained weather spotters near Tulare yesterday evening. Tornadoes were also reported in Clark county.

Several tornado warnings were issued Tuesday night for Spink and Clark counties, as well as north central Beadle County. Damage from hail and high winds was reported in Davison and Sanborn counties.

As predicted, most of the severe weather stayed north of I-90.

In Huron we received 1.18 of rain, according to the Airport, with 1.15 of that falling between 9-10pm.
