Three of four candidates for the U.S. Senate made their case for election before a crowd of 150 people in Mitchell Tuesday evening. The event at Dakota Wesleyan University featured questions from a panel of students and the audience.

The three also sparred on other issues including healthcare, energy, and foreign involvement.
Republican candidate, former Governor Mike Rounds declined an invitation to participate which the other candidates noted during their presentations.
