The proposed merger of South Dakota Wheat Grower’s and North Central Farmers is progressing with a vote scheduled for June. Wheat Grower’s Coop Board President Hal Clemensen says the unification makes sense because it leaves the new entity under farmer ownership and allows them to compete against bigger multinational businesses.
Clemensen says by merging Wheat Growers with North Central Cooperative it will bring a better product for its owner members….
Clemensen says farmers will have time to digest all the information on the unification prior to the vote that will be held in June.
Clemensen says they will be having a webinar this week for their members and anyone interested in the Unification process. That will be Thursday April 9 starting at 3:30pm. Just go to globalmeeting.com/join 825245301.
