SD Joins 10 States in Filing Amicus Brief on California’s Glyphosate Labeling Law

Attorneys General in 11 states including South Dakota have joined agriculture groups in asking a district court to block a California law requiring labels on products containing glyphosate or Roundup. South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley says the California law is based on a faulty premise, and has constitutional problems.

He says he and his fellow Attorneys General are protecting ag interests by taking this legal action.

Jackley says they’re seeking a preliminary injunction to stop this misleading law.

Thirteen agricultural groups led by the National Association of Wheat Growers are also challenging the California law.
