REDFIELD, S.D. (AP) – The director of the South Dakota Developmental Center in Redfield is retiring after nearly 40 years at the center and more than a decade as its leader.
The state Human Services Department says Ted Williams will retire Sept. 8. He will be succeeded by current Assistant Director Jan Banghart. She has served in her current role for eight years.
The center provides individualized treatment services for people with developmental disabilities.
