During their first meeting, the South Dakota Blue Ribbon Taskforce on Teachers and Students was presented with lots of information and data related to how the current funding formula is structured. After going through the current formula and explaining in detail how dollars are calculated and allocated, she left the taskforce with some advice….
The taskforce also heard presentations from the Bureau of Finance and Management and the Department of Revenue. The next meeting is scheduled for August 19th in Pierre.
