A paperwork error, caught in at the right time is going to add some cost to the Huron School District’s plan to outfit students and staff with i-Pads. Huron School District Technology Director Roger Ahlers says the wrong type of i-Pad was in the paperwork for 700 students….
Ahlers says the District had to go back to Apple to have the lease re-written. There is a cost increase of approximately 50 dollars per unit….
Ahlers says the plan is to spread the 35-thousand dollar increase out over the three-year lease…
The Huron School Board unanimously approved the amended i-Pad lease agreement.
