Phone pledges totaling $11,473 have now been recieved after two nights of the Salvation Army Chirstmas Basket Program. The annual program continues tonight at 6:30 PM with the Wolsey Community Chorus followed by the First Presbyterian Church Choir, Huron Area Combined Church Choir, First United Methodist Church Choir and the Firm Foundation Praise Team Proceeds raised during the program go toward supplying Christmas food baskets for less fortunate families in Beadle County and surrounding areas, including Wessington Springs, DeSmet, Alpena, Miller and Tulare. The Christmas Basket program continues throught Thursday at 6:30 each evening with five different performers each night and is broadcast live from the Huron High School Auditorium on KOKK 1210-AM and Midco cable channel 6. The public is invited to enjoy the program in person. Admission is free. Those who have made pledges to the program are reminded to send in their pledge to the Salvation Army at P.O.
