For the 64th time, the Salvation Army Christmas Food Basket Program will take to the airwaves tonight. The four day event begins tonight at 6:30 PM and will run throught Thursday. Money rasied through phone pledges during the four nights will be used for Christmas food baskets and food programs throughout the year for less fortunate families in Huron and the surrounding area. The program is free to attend in person at the Huron High School Auditorium . If you can’t make it in person you can hear the program on 1210-AM KOKK, view it on Midco Cable Channel 6, The Huron Tiger Network or watch it on-line by going to www.christmasbasket.us. Twenty groups will perform over the next four nights. Tonight’s entertainment includes the Huron Middle School Chorus, Huron High School Madrigals, Huron High School Concert Choir, Huron High School Orchestra and Huron High School Concert Band.
