Phone pledges totaling 5-thouasand 963 dollars were received during the first night of the Salvation Army Chirstmas basket program, heard live on 1210-AM KOKK. The program continues tonight at 6:30 pM with performances by the Mount Calvary Lutheran Church Choir followed by the American Lutheran Church Choir and Bells, The Dakota Harmony Chorus, We Found Sound and vocalist Frank Palleria. Proceeds raised during the program go toward supplying Christmas Food Baskets for less fortunate familes in the areas in and around Huron.
