This past Monday night at the Huron City Commission meeting city engineer Brett Runge was on hand to update the commission on the start of phase one of the city wastewater treatment improvement project. He also spoke of the bidding recommendations for replacement of curb and gutter and sidewalks in various areas of Huron. The bid schedule includes the third street dam revitalization plan. The concrete projected to be needed in that area was added to the other concrete bid projections. Runge outlined the plans.

The work will be ongoing in the spring and summer. Completion date is set for this fall.
