At Monday nights Huron City Commission meeting city engineer Brett Runge gave an update on the design cost updates for replacement of the Crossroads parking lot as the underground structure is being removed. First Rate Excavate has been on scene for several weeks. Runge was asked by commission Bryan Smith to give an update of the project.
Runge said First Rate Excavate reusing concrete from the old parking structure is a great benefit.
Temporary parking is available around the Crossroads. The temporary parking will be available later this year. The new asphalt surface will be set next spring.
