South Dakota Ag Secretary Lucas Lentsch gave a presentation to the legislatures Government Operations and Audit Committee meeting in Pierre Thursday on the progress toward new rules for the sale and consumption of raw milk. Lentsch has headed up a work group of producers and interested consumers working toward some type of compromise that would allow the sale of raw milk, and protect public health.
