The River Basin Natural Resource District Oversight Advisory Task Force will hold their first meeting this week in Pierre. The task force will begin the process of changing water basin management in South Dakota. That is all because of legislation passed in this year’s session, which became effective on July first. The task force will begin with a pilot management project in the Red – Minnesota River basins in north east South Dakota. The meeting is set for Thursday in Pierre.
