REVV AVIATION OPENS FLIGHT SCHOOL IN HURON

Revv Aviation the Huron Regional airport Fixed Base Operator has opened three new flight schools at location in Moline Illinois, Tuscaloosa, Alabama along with Huron.    Revv Aviation CEO Guy Lieser said pilot demand is at a critical junction.  According to a report from Boeing Corporation in July of 2022 the airline industry needs to fill 602,000 pilot and 610,000 maintenance positions over the next 20 years due to the current workforce retiring out.  The numbers do not account for group in the industry.  Devan Sterman is the certified flight instructor for Revv Aviation in Huron.  He is originally from California and talks about what flight instruction will be held in Huron.

Earlier this year Huron School superintendent Dr Kraig Steinhoff announced that talks were underway to start a flight school program in the district.  Sterman said that was an influential factor to taking the Revv Aviation position in Huron.
