Redfield Energy LLC is celebrating its 10-year anniversary today with special events at the plant, which is located two miles north of Redfield
The celebration will begin this morning at 10:30 a.m. with a breakfast social, which will include a meet and greet with Redfield’s board, employees, members and more. The invited speakers will share their remarks at 11:15 a.m., followed by lunch around noon and entertainment provided by comedian Spencer Dobson at 12:30 p.m. The celebration will conclude around 1:30 p.m. with a toast to Redfield Energy’s next 10 years.
Since the plant’s inception in 2005, Redfield Energy has generated a net income of $43.5 million. Redfield Energy’s plant has produced 545 million gallons of ethanol, 1.5 million tons of distillers grains and 63 million pounds of corn oil in the past 10 years. This fiscal year, the plant is anticipated to produce 63 million gallons of ethanol using almost 22 million bushels of corn.
