Red Cross Assisting Huron Family After House Fire

The Red Cross is assisting a Huron family after fire destroys their home. The Tuesday morning fire displaced a mother and four children. No one was home at the time however two cats were reported in the residence as emergency crews arrived at the home at 861 Arizona Avenue SW. The extent of damage to the home is unknown. The American Red Cross is providing the family of five with three nights lodging and financial assistance for food, clothing and basic needs. Officials says additional services to assist the family will be offered as they move forward in their recovery process. The cause of the fire is unknown.
