Huron beat a 25 year record on Wednesday. The morning temperature of -30 broke the previous record of -29 in 1994.
The all time coldest temp ever recorded in Huron is -43, which was achieved in Jan 8 1887 and Jan 12 1912.
A wind chill advisory remains in effect until 9 am Thursday morning.
