Yet another data breach is putting consumers at risk. This time tens of millions of Americans associated with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield could be at risk. Unknown hackers apparently stole personal identifying information (PII) from current and former Anthem customers, including names, addresses, Social Security numbers, dates of birth and other information that can be used for identity theft. Jesse Schmidt of the Better Business Bureau says this is more far-reaching than a credit card breach…
She says if you’ve been victimized by the breach act immediately….
Schmidt says the best protection is to be vigilant all the time…
