Evidence presentation and witness testimony continued Wednesday morning in Huron at the re-trial of former Highmore Police Chief Ken Huber. A forensic computer expert at the State Crime Lab in Pierre testified she recover computers from the Huber home, City of Highmore City Finance Office and from the Bridgeman and Adle Law Office in Highmore, where Jennifer Lowrie, on of Huber’s mistresses had a computer. Three State Division of Criminal Investigation Agents testified they found a number of e-mails in the closet of the master bedroom at the Huber residence. Prosecutors Pattie Davaney and Robert Mayer spent over two hours reading from the e-mails. Many of the e-mails were communication between Pam Huber and Cindy Erwin, the first woman Ken Huber had an affair with. Pam Huber pleaded with Erwin to contact and talk to Ken because she felt Ken Huber needed to hear from Cindy. Erwin also e-mailed Ken Huber. There was little communication between both Huber’s in the e-mail with ranged from April of 2005 to 10 days prior to the fatal shooting of Pam Huber in the troubled couples bedroom. Testimony will continue until around 5 PM tonight.
