A Rapid City man was an eyewitness to the massacre in Las Vegas early this morning – as a gunman opened fire on a crowd attending a Jason Aldean concert.

The gunman, identified as Stephen Paddock of Nevada, apparently committed suicide as police began closing in on his hotel room in the Mandalay Bay.
Flags in South Dakota are at half-staff today in honor of the victims. President Trump made the half-staff declaration earlier today. Governor Dennis Daguaard says flags will remain at half-staff until Friday.
