Republican Incumbent Dusty Johnson says he’s dissapointed with a lack of research and development into storage technology….

Johnson says South Dakota’s low utility rates are good in most ways, but that it does prevent companies from developing such storage technologies. Johnson believes cost effective battery technology will be developed on the nations coasts where energy costs are substantially higher.
