Public Safety Improvement Committee Holds First Meeting

A committee responsible for watching the development of South Dakota’s revised public safety improvement act held their first meeting Thursday in Pierre.
The oversight committee will track the legislation that opened the way to put fewer people in jail, and move more toward treatment and rehabilitation.
