The push to gather the final three million dollars has surpassed the target dollar amount. Including a donation of 510-thousand dollars by the Nordby Family Foundation to purchase the former Huron University campus the total public dontations for the project surpassed four million dollars. Over 800 people and businesses contributed dontations to the Make a Splash effort. The target date for opening of the aquatic center in the Spring of 2013.
