Huron police say a local man is missing is possibly endangered. Officers performed a welfare check on the residence of 56-year-old David Medina-Forte March 9th after his employer reported the man missing. Police say the residence appears not disturbed since March 6th. Police have tried emergency contacts for Forte. Two numbers were disconnected and the third has not heard from Forte in six months. Authorities have not been able to contact any immediate family members. Forte is diabetic and does not have needed medications including insulin with him. He is a Hispanic male approximately five foot, ten inches tall with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen walking south from Pizza Hut on Dakota Avenue on the afternoon of March 5th, wearing a black jacket and black jogging pants. Police say Forte is likely on foot since his vehicle was located still at his home. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of David Medina-Forte is asked to contact Huron Police at 353-8550.
