A plea could come today in the Christopher Santfleben case. The 41-year-old Huron man is charged with possession of a destructive device and possession of an explosive device with intent to injure, intimidate or destroy property. A scheduled preliminary hearing for last week was cancelled. Santfleben was arrested on April 18th following a two-hour stand-off with police early in the morning. He is out of jail after posting a 10-thousand dollar bond shortly after his arrest. Beadle County States Attorney Mike Moore has previously stated that investigators found a jelly-like flammable material, very similar to Napalm after Santfleben’s arrest. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the incident.
