Getting a hold of Huron Regional Medical Center may be tough for a time on Wednesday. Officials with HRMC say Midcontinent Communications will be interrupting phone and fax service starting at 10 AM on Wednesday so Midco crews can upgrade services. The temporary outage will affect HRMC and the HRMC Surgical Clinic. Residents with a medical emergency should dial 9-1-1 or come directly to the HRMC Emergency Room. Calls during the interruption will get a busy signal. Routine calls should hang up and try again.
