Performance Radio's Marcus Retiring Today

It’s the end of an era today at Performance Radio. After over three decades of seeing over K-O-K-K, K-I-J-V, K-Z-K-K and Big Jim, General Manager Linda Marcus, is retiring. Marcus started at K-O-K-K and later Z-105 F-M in late 1979. She became G-M of K-I-J-V and then Kissin Country 99 following the purchase of the two stations and creation of Performance Radio in it’s current form in December of 2003. A retirement reception is being held this afternoon at the Performance Radio studios at 1726 Dakota Avenue South from four until six P-M. In addition to the celebration of Linda’s time and dedication to Performance Radio, we will be making a special announcement regarding K-I-J-V between five and five-thirty P-M. We invite any and all wanting to wish Linda well to stop by the station later today.  Taking Marcus’ place as general manager at Performance Radio is long time announcer and sales manager Shawn Martin.
