Peformance Radio News Adds 9 Sevareid Awards To Collection

For the fourth consecutive year, the Northwest Broadcast News Association of Spearfish has presented Performance Radio News, with the Eric Sevareid Award for excellence in broadcast journalism. An Award of Merit was given in General Reporting for a story on the sentencing of James Harris in De Smet last April. For the third straight year our website, www.performance-radio.com has won a Sevareid, this year taking First Place. And two Eric Sevareids were awarded in the Series Category. First Place was given for the weekly series done last year on the Huron Police Department’s Citizen’s Police Academy.
